Why Kansas trade takeoffs differ

A generic takeoff misses the conditions that move Kansas numbers. Footings in the Kansas City metro go deeper than in Wichita, eastern Kansas clay drives pier and slab design, hail exposure pushes owners toward Class 4 impact-rated roofing, and the line between taxable remodel labor and exempt new-construction labor changes the bottom line on every invoice. Our trade pages explain how each of these affects your quantities and pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order a takeoff for just one trade?

Yes. Subcontractors can order a single trade, such as concrete or drywall, from a full commercial plan set. You pay only for the scope you bid.

What takeoff software do you use?

We work in Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift and On-Screen Takeoff and can deliver marked-up PDFs or native files. Quantities are always exported to Excel so you are not locked into our software.

Do trade takeoffs include waste factors?

Yes. Every takeoff lists the net quantity and the waste or lap factor applied, so you can see and change our assumptions. Typical factors are documented on each trade page.
